Needs 10 AWG wire and a separate 30 amp breaker....no plug included and will not plug in under sink as most homes have 12 -14 awg wire w/combined circuit. Have 220 v receptable in garage so will be getting a 40 gal water tank htr instead......wish it had more info as I would not of purchased it. Do more internet searching also would of helped, other sites say separate dedicated breaker and 10 wire needed.
Arrived quickly but the installation instructions were not so good for this model, but two calls to the 800 gave the information we needed and worked fine once installed. It has only been installed for a very short time so I guess know we have to see how if will work over time.
