I'm not sure why anyone would not be happy with this unit (if it is installed correctly) but I have to say I love it. It was one of the best investments that I ever made for my home We have a 2 story 3 bathroom house and it works great for us(4)can take showers 1 after another and there is always hot water. My old 30 gallon tank would have been done after 2 showers. It is not perfect, using the washer or another bathroom can throw of the temp but hey there is always hot water...

We recently down sized our house and along with down sizing comes a loss of storage space. Our current water heater sits in a closet under the stairs. In effort to maximize our space we decided on the Rheem RTE 27. After doing some research it seemed like we had the perfect plan. I was very excited to find the Rheem RTE 27 at such a great price on Amazon! I jumped the gun and purchased it! It arrived in no time. After looking at the unit and the power box, the electrician, said the RTE 27 draws (240) more power than my whole house. We would have to have another breaker box installed to operate the water heater. The cost of adding the extra breaker box, the plummer (who we didn't even get a quote from) and the unit itself made it excessively expensive. Make sure you verify your electrical supply before you buy. If it wasn't for the electrical issue I would have had it installed. There are lots of good reviews out there from people who are actually using the RTE 27. Still no closet space!
