I wanted an instant water heater for my apartament, as I live in a hot climate this was a perfect option, instalation was very easy, I had to put 60 amp brakers and it works wonderful, I replaced an old 40 gallon tank that was broken, now I have space available and spend less energy, this little thing give endless hot water but you have to be sure you have the correct wires to bear 50 amps of the unit. Excellent product.

I needed something quick and cheap because my electric hot water heater started leaking (tank). This was an excellent option. Can it run a shower while you run the faucet in the sink, well not really. It takes a bit of getting use to. Since I use it for the whole house, and this unit sits in the basement, you have the usual wait to get the hot water up to the 2nd floor, which is normal. If you run the shower at full hot, the water is cold, but if you only turn on the hot faucet a little, it gets extremely hot to where you have to run the cold faucet. So showers are great, and a steaming hot shower is endless.
The trick is, the less flow, the hotter the water, so be careful when you turn the faucet down halfway, it gets screaming hot. Can you run two showers? I don't think so, but maybe if you really turn down the hot faucet on both showers. The inlet is very small, like 1/2 inch, and looking in the inlet you see it gets even smaller on the inside, so the water throughput isn't much, and it struggles when you have two faucets using the hot water, I prefer a lot of water pressure going to the sink.
But... $150 compared to a new tank hot water heater, or even a tankless-gas water heater. I've priced it out, and did a lot of research, this is the cheapest solution and it works well for my girlfriend and I.
So, I give it five stars since it bailed me out of a tight financial situation, the only catch is that I don't use the sink when the shower is in use, and if I have to, keep it to a tiny stream which still rinses the soap from my hands. So I recommend this unit.
